I wrote before about my trip to New York City to visit my friends Amy and Matt, although I can’t believe this was now 10 years ago! Time flies, and it feels like just yesterday that we were wandering Times Square looking for photo opportunities. I found this scene on Broadway and 46th (in the same area as the Statue of Liberty photo I posted before) on an evening when Times Square was buzzing and alive with summertime tourists.
In 2012, I was working for uTest on a new mobile testing product they had acquired from a development shop in Warsaw, Poland. In September of that year, I took a trip to Poland with Roy Solomon, who was uTest’s VP of Product and one of the cofounders. This was the first time I had been to Poland, and I my trip was an incredible mixture of working with good people, eating delicious food, and seeing a city that is a little off the beaten path for most Americans. On our last day, Roy suggested we do two things: go get some of the best coffee in the world and see Warsaw’s historic Old Town.
Happy 4th of July! I took this photo in 2012 while visiting my friends Amy and Matt in New York City. We were all photography aficionados, so we agreed to take an evening stroll to Times Square to find some interesting photos of the locals and tourists. I took several great photos that night, but this one seems especially festive for posting on Independence Day.
