I wrote before about my trip to New York City to visit my friends Amy and Matt, although I can’t believe this was now 10 years ago! Time flies, and it feels like just yesterday that we were wandering Times Square looking for photo opportunities. I found this scene on Broadway and 46th (in the same area as the Statue of Liberty photo I posted before) on an evening when Times Square was buzzing and alive with summertime tourists.

In 2014, I took a trip to visit friends in New York City. I had long wanted to take photos of the Brooklyn Bridge, so I convinced my friends to join me on a photography expedition. Our biggest challenge was the cloudy weather that made finding good light a challenge. Fortunately for us, New York creates its own light if you wait long enough.

Happy 4th of July! I took this photo in 2012 while visiting my friends Amy and Matt in New York City. We were all photography aficionados, so we agreed to take an evening stroll to Times Square to find some interesting photos of the locals and tourists. I took several great photos that night, but this one seems especially festive for posting on Independence Day.
