#34

Spring has sprung at Rice
And for once a haiku that
Mentions a season

  1. Knives being sharper
    Recline quietly alert
    Just a cut above

    Forks are more jumbled
Tuned in with tines of their lives
    Laughing, singing tongs

    Spoons slumber contoured
    Aligned, snuggled together
    Diffident in use

    Serving utensils
    Are the homeless of flatware
    Moving drawer to drawer
